NAD+ Injection vs. IV Infusion: How to Choose a Format and Dose
At Alpha IV Therapy in south Tulsa, a NAD+ injection (a shot) is 25 to 150 mg of NAD+ on its own, given in a 15-minute appointment for $50 to $185. A NAD+ IV infusion (a drip) is 250 to 1,000 mg in a 1-liter bag of lactated Ringer's with double magnesium and a B-complex. It costs $200 to $780, and you should plan on about 90 minutes to about five hours in the chair, depending on the dose. There's also a third route: a 100 mg NAD+ add-on ($100) paired with another IV you're already booking.
The choice comes down to how much time you have, whether you want fluids and vitamins in the same visit, and whether you want NAD+ as a routine. Every tier's exact price and appointment length is in our NAD+ IV therapy cost guide; this page is about choosing between them.

The real difference is format, not just milligrams: a shot is NAD+ alone, while every infusion tier carries the same liter, magnesium and B-complex at any dose. All three options are given at our clinic at 8922 S Memorial Dr, Suite C-1, near 91st and Memorial; NAD+ isn't on the mobile IV menu. Prices can change, and the booking page shows the current price. The team confirms timing when you book.
How to choose: start with what you need
You have 15 minutes, not 90
Book a NAD+ injection. Pick the size (25, 50, 100 or 150 mg); each is a 15-minute appointment at the clinic. The menu lists NAD+ as the only ingredient, so there's no IV bag and no added vitamins.
You're already booking another IV
Choose the 100 mg NAD+ add-on. It's the same 100 mg and the same $100 as the 100 mg injection, but it's paired with the drip you're already getting instead of as a separate service. Ask the team whether it suits the IV you've picked and how it changes your visit length.
You want fluids and vitamins in the same visit
Book a NAD+ IV infusion. All four tiers list the same ingredients, so you're only choosing how much NAD+ and how much time. The next section covers both.
You want NAD+ as part of a routine
Two membership plans mention NAD+ by name, one per format. If shots are your routine, Alpha Edge ($130 a month, on our shot memberships page) bundles one NAD 100 mg injection a month, a size that's $100 on its own, with two vitamin shots a week. If drips are your routine, the VIP plan ($400 a month for a $400 monthly IV infusion credit) is the one our memberships page calls "great if you want to do NAD+ infusions regularly." The monthly injection is a plan inclusion, not a dosing schedule; your provider recommends how often to come in.
Choosing an infusion dose: the jump is time
The menu books the 250 mg and 500 mg tiers at about 90 minutes each. After that, chair time jumps: plan on about four hours for 750 mg and about five hours for 1,000 mg. So the practical question is whether you want a visit that fits around a workday or one that takes up most of an afternoon.
- 250 or 500 mg. The same chair time, so the choice is the amount of NAD+: 500 mg is twice the NAD+ at twice the price ($400 instead of $200).
- 750 or 1,000 mg. Book ahead and choose an early start. Walk-ins are welcome when chairs are open, but the clinic recommends booking ahead, especially for NAD+. Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, so an early start matters most on weekends. Parking on site is free.
- First NAD+ visit. No tier is required as a starting point. When you book, say it's your first NAD+ session (or what you've had before). If you're unsure, call (918) 210-7568 and the team will talk through whether your pick is the right one.
Are NAD+ injections cheaper than an IV?
Per visit, yes. Per milligram, no.
- Per visit: injections run $50 to $185, and the smallest infusion is $200.
- Per milligram: injections work out to $2.00 (25 mg), $1.70 (50 mg), $1.00 (100 mg) and $1.23 (150 mg) per mg. Every infusion tier is about $0.80 per mg.
- Where they nearly meet: the 150 mg injection ($185) is $15 less than the 250 mg infusion ($200). For that $15, the infusion has 100 mg more NAD+ plus the liter, magnesium and B-complex, and it takes about 90 minutes instead of 15.
These are price comparisons only. They don't mean a larger dose, or a drip instead of a shot, does more for you.
Before you book
Is NAD+ part of the $79 new-client deal?
No. The $79 deal is for first-time clients: the Good Faith Exam plus a 1-liter Hydration IV, in the clinic. If you're new to the clinic, you'll complete the $35 Good Faith Exam before your NAD+ visit. It's a quick telehealth visit with a licensed provider, required once a year, and it covers you for 12 months. You need it before an injection as well as an infusion.
Can I switch formats or doses later?
Nothing on the menu locks you into one format or dose, and each visit is booked on its own. When you book the next one, tell the team how your last visit went.
What does a NAD+ session feel like?
Our NAD+ FAQ for first-time clients covers the experience, from the needle to aftercare.
How do I book?
Book online: choose Visit type → Service → Date & time → Your info → Confirm. A first visit adds intake, consents and the $35 Good Faith Exam. You can also call (918) 210-7568.
If you're sick, see your physician first — an infusion isn't a treatment for illness.
