Your First IV Therapy Visit in Tulsa: What to Expect, Step by Step

    Alpha IV Therapy•

A first IV therapy visit at Alpha IV Therapy in south Tulsa has three steps. You book online, call, or walk in when a chair is open. You complete a Good Faith Exam: a $35 telehealth visit with a licensed provider, done on your phone and good for 12 months. Then you sit for your drip, which takes about 40 minutes for most 1-liter IVs. First-time clients can get the exam plus a 1-liter Hydration IV for $79 at the clinic.

Below is each step with its timing and cost, plus how a first visit changes for NAD+, high-dose vitamin C, walk-ins and mobile.

Your first visit at a glance

    Step Where Timing Cost
    1. Book Online, by phone, or walk in Same-day and next-day times are usually open —
    2. Good Faith Exam Telehealth, on your phone Listed at 15 minutes; good for 12 months $35 (included in the $79 deal)
    3. Your drip The clinic, near 91st & Memorial About 40 minutes for most drips Menu price (the 1-liter Hydration IV is included in the $79 deal)

Step 1: Book online, call, or walk in

Online booking has five steps: Visit Type → Service → Date & Time → Your Info → Confirm. As a new client you also sign consents, fill in an intake form and pay for your exam. For the $79 deal, book from the $79 new-client page. The deal is applied automatically, with no code to enter.

Walk-ins are welcome when chairs are open, but book ahead for NAD+, hangover and migraine drips and for weekend slots. The clinic is open every day: 10am–7pm Monday to Friday and 10am–5pm Saturday and Sunday.

Mobile visits can't be booked online, and neither can the Alpha Hangover Elite Quickie or Alpha Migraine Elite Quickie; call (918) 210-7568 for those.

Step 2: Complete your Good Faith Exam

Every client completes a Good Faith Exam before IV therapy: a quick telehealth visit with a licensed provider, done on your phone. It's $35, listed at 15 minutes, and good for 12 months, so you repeat it once a year. The fee is non-refundable and doesn't guarantee approval for treatment, and the exam comes before your IV whether you book ahead or walk in.

Step 3: Check in and get your drip

The clinic is at 8922 S Memorial Dr, Suite C-1, in south Tulsa near 91st & Memorial, with free parking on site. A member of the clinical team goes over your health history and the drip you came in for, then gets you set up.

Most 1-liter drips take about 40 minutes, and half-liter Quickies about 20. Alpha Hydration Liter, the drip in the $79 deal, is 1 liter of lactated Ringer's solution. The other 1-liter drips add their own ingredients to that same base. The team checks in while your drip runs, so speak up right away if anything feels off.

Most add-ons are quick injections given during your visit. On a $79 visit, any 2 of the regularly $30 add-ons are $45 and any 3 are $60, chosen at your appointment. Bring your phone and a charger, or a book.

    After your first visit

When the bag finishes, the line comes out, a bandage goes on and you're free to go. Our aftercare guide covers the rest of the day. For the next 12 months, each visit costs just the price of the drip. How often people come back depends mostly on what they're using IV therapy for.

What your first visit costs, by path

First visit You pay When you pay Good to know
$79 new-client deal $79 (normally $135) All $79 at booking; nothing due at the visit unless you choose add-ons Exam plus the Alpha Hydration Liter (1 liter). First-time clients only, in the clinic, one per person, and it can't be combined with memberships or other promos
Any other clinic drip $35 + the drip, e.g. Alpha Hydration Quickie $70, Alpha Myers (Banana Bag) $190, Alpha Immune $250 $35 at booking, the drip at your visit Add-ons, most of them $30 each, are charged at your visit
NAD+ $35 + $200 (250 mg) to $780 (1,000 mg) $35 at booking, the NAD+ at your visit Plan on about 90 minutes (250 or 500 mg), about 4 hours (750 mg) or about 5 hours (1,000 mg); the team confirms timing when you book. See NAD+ prices by dose
High-dose vitamin C $35 + $200 to $425 $35 at booking, the infusion at your visit 75 minutes. Needs a G6PD, CBC and CMP blood test drawn in the clinic before your first infusion; results take a day, so the draw and the infusion fall on different days. The bloodwork is included in the price
Mobile (home, office or hotel) $35 + the mobile price, e.g. Mobile Alpha Hydration Liter $150 vs $100 in the clinic Booked by phone Within 11 miles of South Tulsa, Sapulpa, Broken Arrow and Coweta; the $79 deal doesn't apply

The "When you pay" column assumes you book online. Prices are from the current menu and can change, and the booking page shows the current price. FSA and HSA cards are accepted for eligible services. The clinic is cash-pay and doesn't bill insurance directly, and insurance generally doesn't cover IV therapy. Active military, veterans, nurses, teachers, linemen and first responders get 20% off IV infusions.

Before you go: a quick checklist

    • If you booked online, watch for your Good Faith Exam link by text and email, and finish the exam before your appointment.
    • Eat something beforehand. Skipping a meal makes a head rush more likely when you stand up afterward.
    • Arrive hydrated. It makes it easier to find a vein.
    • Have a list of your medications and allergies to share with the team.
    • Bring your FSA or HSA card if you plan to use it.
    • If you're sick, see your physician first. An infusion isn't a treatment for illness.

    First-visit questions

Does my first visit have to be the $79 Hydration IV?

No. You can start with any drip on the menu. You pay the $35 exam when you book online and the drip at your visit.

What if needles make me nervous?

The IV goes in through a small needle in a vein in your arm or hand. Mild bruising at the site is the most common reaction. If needles make you nervous, say so when you arrive. It's a common concern, and the team is used to talking people through it.

Can I drive myself home afterward?

Most clients drive themselves afterward. Take it slow getting up, and if you still feel lightheaded or foggy after sitting a few minutes, have someone else drive.
